Atty. Jay Layug and Atty. Richie Avigale Ramos-Pilares, co-heads of DivinaLaw’s Energy practice group, were invited to share their expert insights during the PhilEnergy Expo 2026 held recently in Pasay City.

Atty. Layug spoke on the Philippines’ Green Energy Auction Program and its role in accelerating renewable energy development and supporting the country’s transition toward a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.

Atty. Ramos-Pilares discussed “Green Jobs and Gender Equality,” exploring the role of green jobs in advancing gender equality and fostering a more equitable, diverse, and resilient workforce in the energy sector.

As Executive Board Members of the Philippine Energy Research and Policy Institute (PERPI), both lawyers were featured in the PERPI Seminar themed “Powering the Future: Advancing Clean Energy Innovation and Resilience in the Philippines.”

PhilEnergy Expo 2026 drew over 100 local and international exhibitors and brought together industry leaders and stakeholders from the five key energy sectors: Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Electric & Power, Electric Vehicle, and Energy Storage.
