DivinaLaw Senior Associate Ismael L. Sarangaya, Jr. discussed the nuances of the Retirement Law in the Philippines during the first day of the 7th Labor Relations Summit held in Pasig City from November 18 to 19.

The first day of the summit feature various experts fro the Department of Labor and Employment who spoke on the implementing rules and regulations of Occupational Safety and Health Law, preparing for labor inspections, and the legal framework on grievance handling and voluntary arbitration.

The event drew more than 90 attendees, many of them human resource managers and staff from various sectors including manufacturing, wholesale and retail, utility, realty and development, transportation, and insurance.
