I am Training Services has once again invited DivinaLaw in their series of annual business conferences. Associate Kenneth Glenn L. Manuel was featured in the recently concluded 4th Regulatory Compliance Conference held via Zoom. Atty. Manuel discussed the principles for PEZA and BOI-registered entities under R.A. 7916 and E.O. 226. Both PEZA and BOI offer tax incentives for foreign and local companies in the Philippines. Atty. Manuel shared the registration, application, and coverage differences between the two organizations to ensure regulatory compliance of businesses.
The 4th Regulatory Compliance Conference is a two-day event hosted by IAM Training Services for entrepreneurs, lawyers, compliance consultants, managers, and staff engaged or interested in the compliance function seeking to align their organization with government-mandated HR practices and procedures of government entities under the new normal. The featured plenary sessions included discussions on DTI/DOLE guidelines on workplace prevention and control of COVID-19, BIR’s Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises Act (CREATE), Digital Economy Taxation Act of 2020, IRR of the Social Security Act, IRR of the New Occupational Safety and Health Law (RA 11058), PHILHEALTH’s requirements, and PAG-IBIG Fund updates.
