DivinaLaw Senior Partner Danny E. Bunyi judged the online oral rounds of the 6th Teehankee Center for the Rule of Law Justitia Moot Court Competition themed “Striking the Balance Between Police Power and the Right to Non-Discrimination.” The whole-day competition was held last January 30 via Zoom.
The competition had 11 teams from nine participating schools–Bukidnon State University-College of Law, City University of Pasay-School of Law, Eastern Samar State University, Jose Maria College-College of Law, Lyceum of the Philippines University (Cavite), Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Saint Louis University, University of Batangas and University of Mindanao.
Bukidnon State University was the overall champion and University of Mindanao was first runner-up.
Aside from heading the Firm’s Corporate group, Atty. Bunyi also teaches partnerships and corporation law at the Ateneo de Manila John Gokongwei School of Management.
