Atty. Mary Jude C. Marvel recently represented DivinaLaw in the Legalink Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting held in Penang, Malaysia from July 30 to August 1, 2025.

Legalink is a dynamic international network of independent business-oriented law firms with members from the majority of the world’s main commercial centers. The 3-day event was hosted by Azman Davidson & Co, the Malaysian member firm of Legalink.

Atty. Marvel, a partner at DivinaLaw, took part in a panel discussion on “Arbitration Trends in Model Law Countries with a focus on ASEAN/Asian Countries.” She was joined on the panel by Azman Davidson Senior Partner Rajendra Navaratnam, Edmund Kronenburg (Singapore), Pham Thi Dung (Vietnam), and Rajdeep Panda (India). Legalink Chairman Christopher Trowbridge, managing partner of Texas-based law firm Bell Nunnally, served as moderator.

Participants also discussed key legal updates in their respective jurisdictions, as well as investment opportunities in the semiconductor industry and other emerging industries in the Malaysian state of Penang.
