DivinaLaw Senior Partner Atty. Enrique V. Dela Cruz Jr. was among the esteemed speakers in the 4th National Alternative Dispute Resolution Convention (NADRC) held recently in Pasay City.

Themed “Emerging Trends and Innovations in Dispute Resolution,” the event was organized by the Office of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR), an attached agency of the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Atty. Dela Cruz co-moderated the panel discussion on “The Future of ADR in the Public Sector” with Atty. Myra Angeli A. Gallardo-Batungbakal, an OADR-accredited ADR practitioner. Among the speakers were DOJ Usec. Raul T. Vasquez, Hon. Leo T. Madrazo, deputy court administrator for Mindanao of the Office of Court Administrator – Supreme Court, and Dir. Salvacion Zureta-Baccay of the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s Bureau of Local Government Supervision.

Atty. Dela Cruz was also a panelist for the discussion on “Emerging Trends and Innovations in Dispute Resolution.” He was joined on the panel by Atty. Brenda Jay C. Angeles-Mendoza, a member of the ADR Department of the Academic Council of the Philippine Judicial Academy, Atty. Mario E. Valderrama, general counsel of the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission, and Atty. Ian Ray P. Malilong, the national director for ADR of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
